Rattler The Rattler can be placed up to 2000 ft away from the tattletale base unit depending on the objects and structures between the Rattler and the base unit. The Rattler is sensitive to movement and vibration. The Rattler unit can be placed on top of the items to be protected. It can also be attached to any metal object with the integrated magnets. For example on top of a stack of lumber drywall or other building materials on the engine cowling of a backhoe on top of appliances or HVAC units prior to installation. When the tattletale alarm unit is armed the Rattler will detect any movement or vibration and create an alarm condition. Requires TattleTale Base unit or starter kit below See PDF for system overview
